ALL ABOUT THAT SEX

Yeah, you’re a lousy lay
OK you can get it up
But learning how to satisfy me is
too far out of your way
You’re probably afraid to get lost in fur
I’ve been with men who know how to do things to turn me on
Making a woman scream is how he gets off too
Naturally knows to do
It’s not mechanical,

Some men just know how to do it
They know how to let go
When men let go of their senses
They know how to make a woman cry
And laugh with pleasure
Where are the men who made me
Cry out in ecstasy,
Did they love me too?
Or was it the ones who didn’t possess skill
Who loved me the way I want you to do
Makes me wonder

Don’t believe that men learn it
It’s a charm they carry deep within themselves
Sweet charm where they let go
Is it because that’s all a man got to give
Men know what turns me on emotionally
but when it comes to sex
They don’t know how to
Satisfy my soul
I wonder if a man needs to opens his soul
to make a woman come
Probably all in my mind
Easy to know how to enjoy

Your needs or mine, I know how to come
All about my mind’s excited
Can come and keep coming too
Part of it’s up to you because, yeah, I got my own controls
Yeah Yeah …
I do what I know how to
to myself or to you
I can make my own feel–goods
What about you
Don’t you need and want your own feel–goods
It’s all about time
I need you to do it too
It’s like you forgot
Or never knew
I know the feel good in having my pussy be eat real good
I know the good in screaming and coming again and again
Because other men have done what you can’t do or refuse
To do
At this point, it makes no difference if you know how to do
Go down on a girl like you’ve never before
Some know what to do
Others never heard it
But I know what I had before
And you don’t know how to do
Like it was done to me before

Good morning sunshine

Good morning sunshine
Today you look so fine
Look like you’re dressed to the nines
Good morning sunshine
I wish I could sing like Patsy Cline
Instead of like my tiny feline

Today I’m feeling turquoise, not quite blue because
I’ve got some sunshine inside these cloudy dulls.
I’m a scorcher flower who can bear the heat and not wilt today
Feeling turquoise, not quite blue,
Kinda midway between a rose and a brunette
Rose to face the glory of a new day, a day spiced with rosebuds,
My little cinnamon boy, not a toy
Does the bluebird spell Rheingold – ill fit, sit a while, file me away – my mind strays
Like a stray branch on a tree, a lone bluebird sits alone, barking up the wrong tree,
I see he jes can’t stop himself from falling in a heap under the magnolia tree

Because something got a hold a me I know it must be love
Good morning sunshine
My sweet bliss divine
Living on the incline
Thrown together on a lifeline

*Sunshine on a cloudy day – when it’s cold outside I want the month of may
I guess you’d say what can make me feel this way, My guy – my guy talking about my guy

Good morning sunshine
Today I don’t need any wine
To make me feel Dr. FeelGood
The sun is shining
I’m a scorcher flower
I won’t wilt today

Think it’s gonna rain today, sky a cloudy silver gray
Rain the same under these silver gray skies
Turquoise, feeling a yellow shade of blue
Sunshine peeking through my blinds
Good morning sunshine
Living on the sweet side

*Temptations

FACTORY FARMING BLUES

Hear my song of woe
Look well; see the flow
Life’s lusting for survival
Rivals reaching for revival
In competition for resources
Desire to find recourses
Consumerism’s lust thrust upon us every step
Creates a schism in our humanity
Strive for sanity
Search for an end to succumbing
To become better before death comes …

Fame, riches, voices no one hears, too busy with wanting to get what they have
Yet somehow never did
Passion and poetry flow in my veins, Poetry makes us see more than we want
Examine, consider anew
Like a sudden cloudburst, rain can’t be avoided
Get wet even if you didn’t want to
Hear my pleas, please, hear the crying of all factory-farmed animals scream, cry for help

Production methods for meat is a disgrace to humanity
Make conscious beings suffer in rounds from birth to death, lives unlived, shortened drastically, live in constant pain tragically
Brutality can’t possibly have redeeming qualities
Follow like the livestock we are, allow immorality to flourish
Need to be free from barbarity lest we become the suffering we imbibe

Our earth requires compassion
Consciousness and cruelty don’t get along
Pain sears through my brain
Soul Secrets rip through me
Stand outside my head observe
Bleak reality
Surrounded by pollution
Needing a solution
No absolution through brutal lives led to slaughter – is this nutrition
Who stands to explore alternatives to barbarous merciless sadistic tradition?

Create compassion, humanity –

Be the change we want to see …

Do You Think I’m Paranoid?

My water tastes funny
I think they put hallucinogens in there
Who is they, I wonder in prayer
Could be anybody out there, anybody, anywhere
Put a little drugs in water, a little in my tea
I feel funny, like life is a dream, I don’t feel real;
I feel like a puppet swaying in the wind
Doing what I’m supposed to
I don’t know what to do
We know who or why they are who is they
Can do what they want to
Dew drops fall on my head I heard them and they go where they want to too

I don’t know what I mean
Put a little love in my heart
I’m afraid the world’s not just about art
I’m afraid because Edward Snowden said it’s so
They can do what they want to you and me though
Cause we’re nobodys just losers on the highway to nowhere,
a road so obliterated by time I can stop on a dime
There’s a reason to rhyme, it’s a paradigm
Plus it’s so sublime
Stop and suck on some key lime pie – don’t let this line of thought be new show time in your heart
They’re going nowhere too & it’s a different nowhere,
somewhere other than where we are, or
where we want to be

Will The Real Violetwrites Please Stand Up

For Fat Girls Who Want to Have Fun - I attest to this!
I love putting on wigs.
I love wearing wigs
I love feeling different
like I can choose a new me who I want to be,
a new self when I put on a wig, I feel freer
I don’t know how free I can be
I don’t know if I can ever be me
Because reaching for me
Is only the next reality
Of who I can be where I want to be
Want to be free
More of me shining through the alternative
Psychic reality of desire to be
To make a better me
Emerge from the light
Another new sight

Wigs cant make me a better person
But they make me feel bigger and better
In the moment of a cheating heart
my poetry flows like liquid literally
Each time I wear wigs
I feel I choose a new me I want to be,
a new self, I become because when I put on a wig,
I am freer
I say more because wig or not
I'm a chubby girl having fun wearing a wig
pretending to be someone I'm not

Wearing a wig or not
Wigs let me pretend I am who I want to be
And eventually, I will be me
See, I wrote this on Amazon for a free wig
And it was written by true me,
like with each new wig I choose
I can choose a new me who I want to be,
a new self when I put on a wig, I am freer
I try to be more than I am, bigger than I am
More of me than I am ever to anyone
More me, better bigger,
more confident, prettier, younger,
More precise in being a better me

Who am I
I ask myself every day
Who is the real me
Will the real violetwrites please stand up
Please Please stand up
Are you like me?
I’m the one I claim I’ll never be
I’m the one I try too hard to be
Laughing & crying,
I stand up to try to see who is the real me
I try to be the one I see
the me I own today
is the one I see every day

PEACE TO ALL SENTIENT BEINGS

Summer’s here but the living’s not easy
Humidity abates here and there,
The air’s pretty hazy
Time’s Square still sleazy
Closed public seating there
Get all our food – from who knows where
When I think about it, get scared
Easy times are rare
Life’s very unfair
Especially for animals on factory farms
Want us to think our meat’s here by charm
Nothing’s very clear
If we were to witness animals' suffering,
Their atmosphere, no space, no air,
Living in their excrement
How many of us could bear
The suffering, does anyone care?
I sit here in my chair waiting
For the rain to come to clean
Dirty city air
Wild horses corralled
by helicopters in the air
Taken to slaughterhouses in Mexico
Denied food or water, hundreds of thousands
By our inhumane society and made into dog food
Marilyn Monroe, a humanist through and through
Exposed this in her last film, the Misfits, in 1961
Look it up online at American Wild Horse Preservation
Trying to deal with so much cruelty
Horrors, animals’ torment
The world’s not what it’s meant to be
Take a deep breath,
Ask who cares?
How do us humans dare?

Words From Great Minds To Remember:

“A righteous man regards the life of animals” – PROVERBS 12:10;

“If you have men who will exclude any of God’s creatures from the shelter of compassion & pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men” – ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI;

“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” – MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.;

“I hope to make people realize how totally helpless animals are, how dependent on us, trusting as a child must that we will be kind and take care of their needs…(They) are an obligation put on us, a responsibility we have no rights to neglect, nor to violate by cruelty….” – JAMES HARRIOT;

“The greatness of a nation & its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated” – MAHATMA GANDHI

Dead Flowers

Dead Flowers

He carried me to the place of dead flowers
Where I spent my water for liquid gold
He tickled my clitoris with humming bird hands
I tasted curiosity; smell satiated me
Is that my worth, only dead flowers?
